- By Air: One can pick various flights in Manila that come to Cebu almost everyday. Also one can catch various flights arriving directly to Cebu via Singapore, Hongkong, and Seoul. - By Sea: Since Cebu is located at the center of the Philippines, it is home of various shipping companies that call Cebu there home. Major coastal cities around the Luzon (Masbate), Visayas (ex. Bacolod, Ilo-ilo, Ormoc, Maasin, Dumaguete), and Mindanao (ex. CDO, Butuan, Ozamis, Nasipit, Dapitan) region have ferries and boat going to and from Cebu, schedule may vary for each shipping company. - Talisay Liberation Park - The Liberation Park has been declared a national historical shrine as it marks the spot where American forces made the landing on March 26, 1945.
- Sta. Teresa de Avila Church - has one of the unique Graeco-Roman churches not only in Cebu but in the Philippines as well. Unique in a way that its kind of architecture where the main entrance and pediment are recessed, falling behind its flanking twin belfries, only has its parallel in another Augustinian church which is in Bacnotan, La Union in northwestern Luzon and to some extent, San Luis in Pampanga and Carcar in the same province.
- Crocolandia - The Crocolandia Foundation Inc., founded in 2001, is a nature conservation center located in Talisay City, Cebu, Philippines. The park houses birds, lizards, snakes, and crococodiles.
- Lagundi Reef - Lagundi Reef The Lagundi is part of the Coral Triangle, wherein we are part of the center of the center of marine biodiversity in the world. This means our seas are homes to new and developing species that are still evolving and are still undiscovered.
- Lechon - Cebu is known to be the home of the best lechon of the Philippines. In every occasion, no matter how small or big, the main attraction and the most important food in every Filipino buffets is lechon, whether you have it whole or chopped, regular or spicy, lechon is a must in every Filipino occassion and party. The name “lechon” came from the Spanish term that refers to a roasted suckling pig.
- Buwad(Dried Fish) - Cebu is also known for its dried fish, or locally known as Buwad. It is a popular product or pasalubong(gift) in the province among tourists and locals alike. There are various kinds of dried fish, such as Danggit, Pusit, Dilis, Tapa,and Buwad Pinikas — are all available in Taboan.
- Dried Mangoes - It is said that dried mangoes are one of the Philippines' most famous export product. There are 2 kinds of dried mangoes: the ripe(Yellow mangoes) and unripe(Green mangoes). There is also a new kind of dried mango that just recently came to the market, its the chocolate coated dried mangoes.
- Chicharon - It's a deep fried pork's back fat or pork rind. It is best dipped and eaten with spiced vinegar. Every person visiting Cebu should taste this aside from Lechon. There are also variations in Chicharon, such as with fat, without fat, spicy, and just plain regular pork rind/chicharon.
- Otap - It's an oval-shaped crunchy baked biscuit covered with sugar. It is known as one of Cebu's best delicacies and sought after pasalubong snacks, for both local and international tourist.
- Chorizo de Cebu - It is a special kind of native Filipino sausage or "longganisa," Cebu-made chorizo is known for its sweet, spicy taste.
- Mazareal - Mandaue City is where the best Mazareal products come from. These are rectangular bars of mixed ground peanuts and sugar, packed in white papers.
- Torta - The one made in Argao in southern Cebu is still the best although torta are available in many bakeshops in Cebu. Argao's previous Pitlagong Festival was replaced in 2011 by La Torta Festival, a feast mainly dedicated to its famous delicacy.
- Rosquillos - Originally made in Liloan Cebu, Rosquillos, a circular shape cookie with a hole at the center, is now one of the favorite snacks among locals and visiting tourists.
- Bibingka - This type of rice cake is available in many parts of the country, but Mandaue City is known for its special bibingka as it is baked in a special oven locally known as "Urnohan."
- Inasal Festival - The festival is a showcase of lechons in various costumes and decorations. This is usually held on October 15
- Fiesta sa Talisay - the city celebrates its annual fiesta in honor of Sta. Teresa de Avila. This is usually held on October 15
- Halad Kang Santa Teresa - An offering of thanksgiving in the form of dance by local Talisaynons and pilgrims to pay homage to Sta. Teresa de Avila, the city's patroness. People from all walks of life flock to the city to dance, offer and join the merriment. This is usually held on October 15
